One Stitch at a Time: Designing the Tailored Creative Brand

Creating a unique brand takes a hands-on, tailored approach. A brand is so much more than a logo and the best are built on a foundation of deep research and insight. A brand’s optics visually capture and engage customers while their narrative tells a compelling story, personifying the brand and creating loyalty. This is the “How” for the creation of the Tailored Creative brand.

Foundation

The beginning of any great brand starts with research. Much like a tailor relies on their measurements, we must rely on our research, discoveries, and strategy to best suit the brand’s goal. For Tailored Creative, this meant researching our target audience, competitors, differentiators, and current trends within the industry. With a sturdy base of information to build from, the brand identity begins to take form.

Optics

A literal approach to the brand allowed us lean into the aesthetic of an actual tailor. The logo incorporates flowing typography and cloth banners. The color palette is energetic, yet dignified. The typography has a classic feel, but it’s updated and contemporary. The creation of the Tailor Mascot and animation further personifies the brand’s aesthetic. These elements combine to create the visual identity and the face of the brand.

Tailored Creative

Narrative

Like every bespoke piece of clothing tells a story, so should your brand. Tailored Creative’s brand narrative tells of a professional who creates high quality, hand-crafted services that stand the test of time. This is reinforced through creative copy, and giving the brand a distinctive voice. Every word has purpose, just as every stitch does.

Through the combination of the foundation, optics, and narrative, now it’s time for the brand to make its debut. With a new custom-tailored outfit, it seems like the perfect time.
